Had a 3-year career with Chicoutimi of the QMJHL that saw him capture nearly every available accolade … Won Canadian Major Junior Goaltender of the Year honors in 1997 after finishing 22-15-2 with 4 shutouts and a leagueleading 2.69 GAA … Led his team to the QMJHL Finals and the Memorial Cup Tournament that season and earned QMJHL First Team All-Star and Canadian Major Junior First Team All-Star honors … Posted a 62-45-7 record with a 3.09 GAA in 124 outings combined in his 3-year major junior career.

1996-97:
Made his 1st NHL appearance on 12/7 at LAK, surrendering 3 goals … Appeared in 4 postseason games with Hershey, going 1-0 with a 1.08 GAA and helping the Bears to a Calder Cup Championship …

1998-99:

Went 9-24-5 with a 3.11 GAA and .899 SV% in 42 games … Notched his 1st career shutout with Columbus in 2-0 win 1/16 vs. NYR … Won his 1st road game in a Blue Jackets uniform 11/2 at EDM (2-1) … Recorded Blue Jackets 1st win at DET on 2/8 with 33 saves in 3-2 win … Played his 100th career NHL game vs. SJS on Apr. 10 …

2002-03:

Played in 49 games with Columbus and posted a 21-25-0 record … His 21 wins were tied for the second most in his career … He faced 1505 shots and made 1354 saves, both the third highest in his career … Posted a 3.25 GAA and a .900 SV% … Had season highs in shots faced with 45 and saves with 42 12/26 vs. CHI … Posted a 6-game winning streak 1/16-2/2/06 … Made 40 saves to earn a 1-0 shutout over ANA on 12/28 … The shutout was the 15th of his career and the 40 saves were the most he has ever had in a shutout.

OTHER:
Selected to play for Team Canada at the 1996 and ‘97 World Junior Championships … Went unbeaten (5-0-2) at the 1997 tournament with a 1.86 GAA and was named the top goaltender at the event … Made 2 appearances at the 1996 tournament, going 2-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA… Helped Team Canada capture gold medals each year … Member of the gold-medal winning Team Canada at 2004 World Championships.
